It is mainly used for the inspection of microbial samples collected from the throat. It has outstanding sample collection and release capabilities, and can quickly adsorb trace samples with high release efficiency
Our flocked swabs feature perpendicular nylon fibers that optimize specimen collection and elution into transport media. The swabs also feature a molded breakpoint that allows you to safely and easily break off the swab stick, and several breakpoint options are available for different tubes.

Product Usage:
Application: Oropharyngeal Sampling
It is mainly used for the inspection of microbial samples collected from the throat. It has outstanding sample collection and release capabilities, and can quickly adsorb trace samples with high release efficiency
The sampling method of oropharyngeal swab:
①. Let the patient sit down first, then let the patient tilt his head back, open his mouth, and make an ah~~ sound.
②.The sampler uses a tongue pressure plate to fix the patient’s tongue and uses polyester or calcium alginate to cross the tongue to reach the back wall of the throat and the crypts and sidewalls of the tonsils.
③. Repeatedly wipe 3~5 times to collect mucosal cells.
④. Take the swab out of the mouth slowly, put it into the sampling tube vertically, break off the tail of the throat swab, and tighten the sampling tube to avoid leakage
⑤.send it to the laboratory for inspection as soon as possible.
